The problem

Virtual coffee chats feel forced.Real connections are built offline.

Our algorithm identifies and sets up dinners with a group of professionals who share your field and your interests — so the conversation actually goes somewhere.

No more "So, how are you doing?".

No more "How's the weather?".

No more forgotten LinkedIn requests.

How it works?

Make lasting connections with people who remember you long after the night is done

No awkward intros. No forced networking. Just good people, good food, and conversations that go somewhere.

01

Tell us about you

Share your field, your interests, and a bit about what you're into. This is how we build your curated group — so you're seated with people you'll actually click with.

02

Get matched to your group

We seat you with a small group of professionals in your own field who share your interests. No requests, no planning — we sort it all out so you can go home knowing you made a real connection.

03

Dinner

Meet your group at a great restaurant in the city. We know you're busy, so we don't want you to take out time from your things. That's why you come for dinner. Have real conversations, no awkward small talk, and broaden your professional network. (You cover your own meal.)

04

Time for The Loco Bloco

After dinner, every group comes together at one block, so you can meet others from the city going through the same experiences.

Why LocoBloco?

Why people join LocoBloco

Networking doesn't have to feel like work. Here's why dinner with the right people changes everything.

Make real connections, not awkward requests.

Make real connections, not awkward requests.

Adding someone online feels awkward and transactional — and when you actually need them, will they even remember you? Will they judge you? Real relationships come from real conversations, and those happen in person, over a meal, with someone who shares your world.

It's genuinely a good time.

It's genuinely a good time.

This isn't a panel or a networking mixer with name tags. It's good food with easy, lively conversation that naturally flows because you have similar interests outside of work. You actually get each other. You come for the connection — you stay because the night's just fun.

You're not going through it alone. You're in a community.

You're not going through it alone. You're in a community.

It's easy to feel like you're the only one facing what you're facing. You're not. The best part of knowing people in your field: someone's going through it too. They're solving for or have solved the problem you're stuck on, or they know someone who knows someone who can. Real connections are how you move forward — and they start with a real conversation, not a cold message.

The community

Built for people like you

LocoBloco was started because we were tired of networking that felt like a transaction. We wanted a way to meet others in our field that felt natural — like getting dinner with friends you just hadn't met yet.

Every dinner is curated by hand. We look at your field, your interests, and the kind of people you actually want to talk to. No algorithms running the room. No awkward icebreakers. Just a table of people who get what you're working on.

What people say

The kind of night you actually remember

It's not easy being a first time founder. There are so many things you don't know. I just thought there's no harm in trying out LocoBloco and ended up having a great dinner with people who understand what building a startup actually feels like. It's sometimes enough to just know that you're not the only one going through it.

Yash

Founder

I just had a great time meeting people who not only do the same work I do, but also share the same hobbies. I love yoga and met someone who goes to a yoga club every week. Next week, we are going to yoga together.

Akanksha

Product Manager

Most of my connections are either from work, old friends, or WhatsApp groups. I knew that I wanted to build professional relationships outside of this, but I just didn't know how. I'm grateful I found LocoBloco. It's intentional and actually useful. Ended up meeting really cool people

FAQ

Questions, answered

Everything you need to know before your first dinner.

How does it work?+

After signing up, you'll answer a few questions about your field and what you're into. We use that to match you with 5–6 people in your own profession, then book the restaurant and pick the time. All you do is show up, meet your group, and enjoy the night. You'll pay for your own food and drinks at the venue. Have fun!

What happens after dinner?+

Every table in your field reconvenes at one venue nearby — so you go from a handful of peers to a whole room of people who do what you do. Stay as long as you like. It's the best part of the night.

How are tables matched?+

We match by profession first, then by your interests, so you're seated with people you'll actually click with — not random strangers, and not just anyone who shares your job title. The goal isn't perfect matches, it's interesting ones.

I've never done this before, and I'm a little nervous.+

Totally normal — everyone is, and nobody knows anyone at first. That's the whole point. We keep the groups small and the vibe easy, and everyone's there for exactly the same reason. You might just meet some of the most interesting people in your field.

What if I have dietary restrictions?+

We ask when you book and do our best to pick a venue that works for you. Have a look at the menu beforehand — if it's not a fit, reach out and we'll sort something out.

What if I need to cancel?+

Life happens. You can cancel through your account. Just give us as much notice as you can so we can keep the group balanced for everyone else — last-minute cancellations leave an empty seat at a small table, making everyone else’s experience a teeny bit inconvenient.

When and where are the dinners?+

We're starting in Toronto, on weeknights. Once you're matched, we'll send you the restaurant details ahead of time, along with where everyone's reconvening afterward.

Is this a networking thing?+

Not in the name-tag, LinkedIn-exchange sense. It's a real dinner with people in your field — the connection happens naturally because you actually have something to talk about.

What does it cost?+

For our founding members in Toronto, first month is FREE. We have 50+ professionals signed up, and are extending this offer for the first 500 professionals. Join the waitlist and you'll be the first to know.
